Get to know us

The Conscious Kids Association is a private education association located in Loxahatchee, Florida. Members of our association are granted full access to our learning center where our commitment to nurturing young minds is evident in our holistic approach to education. Our schoolhouse provides a warm and supportive atmosphere where we offer engaging activities such as cooking classes, yoga, art sessions, and gardening, and teach core subjects through a combination of direct instruction and project-based learning. Our teachers have over 20 years of experience in teaching students from Pre-K through 8th grade and are certified reading specialists. Through project-based learning, children acquire skills like time management, goal setting, communication, giving and receiving feedback, problem-solving, self-awareness, public speaking, and creativity. This, along with guided exercises in mindfulness and social emotional learning, highlights how the Conscious Kids Association prioritizes the development of the whole child.

Our mission

Our mission is to cultivate a village that raises its children to be emotionally intelligent, self-aware, connected and confident, not just in their academics but in their character as well.

Our vision

We’ve reimagined what a school could be by creating a more tailored approach than the traditional "one size fits all" model and by emphasizing a relaxed environment, comfortable and conducive to learning. We've eliminated stressors students typically encounter like homework, tests, grades, and textbooks and revolutionized holistic education by incorporating spiritual and mental health practices into our curriculum.

Our team

Our teachers and volunteers have over 20 years of experience in holistic education and are passionate about nurturing the whole child's development through mindfulness and social-emotional learning.

Our Schoolhouse

Our beautiful schoolhouse is situated on 2 acres of land and is home to a growing food forest and many animals including chickens, turtles, fish, guinea pigs, ducks, and mini horses (coming this summer!) Our children start and end their day playing outdoors on our huge playground, basketball court, or climbing trees! We are open Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 3 PM and follows a year-round schedule of 6/7 weeks on and 2 weeks off. Each session introduces a new project theme which is accentuated in our schoolhouse with interactive displays which captivate your child's imagination. All of this is made possible with the yearly membership fees which cover the costs of all necessary supplies, including computers, curriculum, and materials used to create a conducive environment for your child to thrive.
