Engaging Activities

Project Based Learning

Our projects integrate core subjects with activities like cooking, yoga, art, and gardening, fostering skills like time management, communication, and problem-solving.

Hands-on Learning

Our students engage in hands-on learning experiences that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.

Our year-round, mixed age schoolhouse provides its students 6 projects a year. Each project has a ‘real-world’ end goal that tasks students to publicly present their knowledge or take action to solve a problem. Because of this, our students provide the community several free events that either educate others or help solve a problem. In past two years alone, our children have partnered with local wildlife rescue organizations to educate its visitors, organized beach clean ups, created three pop up museums for the community, planned and served a soup kitchen for over 200 people, developed PSAs for the county, and won several awards in STEM competitions and science fairs! Our PBL format gives students the opportunity to act as leaders and change makers, and helps them gain confidence and skills in communication, collaboration, and leadership.
